Summer Horseback Riding & Adventure Camp is a popular camp program, offered to boys and girls ages 7-14. It is held for a week, Monday to Friday, in either morning or afternoon sessions. In addition to horseback riding, children can enjoy a different hands-on outdoor activity each day.

The Horseback Riding program is held at Hiram House’s Double H Ranch, which has a 9,700 sq. ft. indoor riding arena, 4,500 sq. ft. of stable space, with eleven box stalls, and an outdoor riding arena. Each daily session is one and a half hours long and focuses on proper Western riding as well as basic horse care, such as grooming, approaching, saddling and bridling. Stable chores (feeding, stall mucking, tack care), are also part of the daily lessons. NOTE: all riding is done in our arena—there will not be any trail riding.

Team Building & Adventure activities immediately follow daily horseback riding lessons. During this one and a half hour daily lesson, campers will experience a different exciting outdoor activity, including the climbing wall, low-ropes course, archery, creek hikes and canoeing.

NEW: We will be offering individual (1-on-1) riding lessons. Call to inquire (216)831-5045.
